I spent a week retouch a designing that I did for school earlier in the year. I finally developed an artist studio, for the kind of artist who wants to practice artwork in seclusion atop rolling hills. The space features a living space, small kitchen/dining room and a bedroom that cantilevers above. The Studio is disconnect from the remainer of the building by a patio space that overlooks the hill. The building feature stairways with strips of window that run from thread to ceiling. All parts of the building are covered by a curvaceous glue-laminated shell that adopts the curveture of the surrouding hill. Above the kitchen the wooden shell is puntured as to allow in ample natural light into the intimate cooking and dining space.
